When you arrive at the Grand Canyon Caverns, you will descend 210 feet below the surface. A professional and entertaining guide will narrate while you explore this natural wonder up close and personal. You'll travel the pathways throughout the cavern, see points of interest and hear relevant stories. You will see a mummified bobcat, a replica of an ancient giant sloth and bizarre rock formations. Learn about how the caverns were discovered and how they were formed. You will even get to see a large cache of cold war rations placed there in the 1960s, still edible, preserved for years in the caverns dry climate.
